We are looking for an accoustic guitarist to play at our wedding on 28th July 2012 for 2-3 hours from 12 noon, it is a smallish wedding of up to 40 people in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Our own music taste is Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Dire Straits, Joe Bonamassa – obviously looking to have it toned down for the occasion. Please email back if you’re interested in playing and give us an idea of cost and playlist.

At least once a week I am asked to make personnel recommendations about the artists featured on the Music and Events directory.

As a general rule I remain unbiased and do not give my own personal opinion (as it is not my job to do so)
But when someone asks us about a particular band or act that I have a very good knowledge about, have seen live and also know first hand the professionalism that goes on behind the scenes I are happy to put my personnel stamp of approval on it.

In 2011 I was asked a number of times about the band ‘Energy’ and I am always excited to share my experiences with people who are thinking about booking them.

I spent nearly 3 years on the road performing with a number of the members of this band and their attention to detail, level or expertise and dedication to their job on and off the stage is right up there with the best and most popular bands in the country.

There are many great bands out there but if you are having an event in 2012 and are looking for a band that will tick every box ALWAYS consider the band ‘Energy’ as one of your options.
